Angel Oloshove is a Texas-based sculptor working primarily in ceramics. She studied Painting and Drawing at California College of the Arts, San Francisco and worked as in toy design and graphic design in Tokyo.

Her work has been exhibited widely in Houston and around the US at venues like the Contemporary Art Museum, Houston, Art Palace Gallery, HJ Gallery, and the Menil Bookstore and has appeared in national and international publications like ArtForum, It's Nice That, and Visual 404.  She was a finalist for the 2015 Houston Artadia Award, and is a nominee for the Joan Mitchell Foundation grant.

Angel's work often experiments with painterly glazes to express feelings of transcendental experiences through form and color.

During the Varda Artist Residency, Angel she explored modular abstract forms and created two metaphysical memorial piece and dream vessels to hold the sunrise and sunset.
